What is Yoga?

The word yoga has been widely interpreted by many people. Mostly, though it is defined according to the preference of the person doing the defining. Yet if you look in a Sanskrit Concordance, the word yoga has a foundational meaning that most people tend to ignore. They then feel free to say tht yoga means a particular thing.

They are not exactly wrong, but they usually say "Yoga is … (WHATEVER) …" and don't tell you there are many other equally possible interpretations.
